Ayurvedic Digestion Tips

In Ayurveda, Agni — the digestive fire — sits at the heart of vitality. When Agni is strong food becomes nourishment; when it weakens we accumulate Ama (toxins), the precursor of many imbalances.

To strengthen Agni: sip warm water through the day, favour cooked over raw foods, add ginger before meals, and avoid eating until the previous meal has been digested. Eat in a calm, seated environment — and stop at three-quarters full.
